A native of Calgary, Alberta, Barbara graduated from the University of Ottawa, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Family Relations and Child Development. Inspired by personal loss and the compassionate legal guidance her family received during her father’s battle with mesothelioma in 1988, she later pursued her legal education with a clear purpose: to help families navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
